One endless Icelandic summer night turns a shy schoolboy crush into a raw crash-course in manhood, drugs, desire and the irreversible fall from innocence.

In this taut 15-minute Icelandic short, a timid lad nurses a classic puppy-dog longing for pretty classmate Lára, who’s pals with his mate. The foursome drift through the luminous night into a wilder house party packed with older kids. Ketamine pills get handed round; inhibitions and consciousness dissolve. What follows is the harsh jolt from childhood games into adult shadows—including a brutal violation the boy half-witnesses in his dazed state—before a quiet, protective dawn gesture that lets her wake believing something tender happened instead. Pure, piercing coming-of-age anchored by its unflinching yet humane close.
